It gives you an overview of how to carry out an HIA. Your learning will be assessed through quizzes and a final 60min guided conversation. Health impact assessment (HIA) is a structured and innovative process that informs decision makers about the potential effects of a project, program or policy on the health and well-being of populations.

The purpose of this online course is to help you to develop your skills in perceiving and addressing ethical issues that might arise in public health practice in order to make more ethically-informed decisions.
