The guidelines presented here are in topic, country and published date order.
Often older guides can be useful for research and historical purposes to understand the evolution of HIA in countries and between countries.

Though it can help countries think about how local and national government greenspace policies and health policies can be aligned, be complementary, and/or integrated.
Table of Contents: Section 1 Background (1. Greenspace in Scotland, 2. Greenspace and health policy context); Section 2 Evidence (Scope of the research that was reviewed 3. Health impacts of greenspace, Summing up); Section 3 Applying the Evidence (4. Doing a health impact assessment of greenspace; 5. List of health impact assessment tools and reports on greenspace; 6. Sources of data and good practice on greenspace); Appendices (A1. Glossary of terms, A2. Literature review questions and search strategy); Case Studies (The consideration of greenspace in a regeneration/transport HIA; How HIA can be used in a greenspace policy context; Use of the health impact literature in a greenspace project HIA; The consideration of greenspace health impacts in a spatial plan; A HIA of a multi-functional and multi-use greenspace project).
